Legend has it...
The most renowned icon of the Ga-Segonyana municipality is the natural fountain in the centre of Kuruman.
Although now commonly known as ‘The Eye,’ in the early years the Tswana people christened this fountain ‘Ga-Segonyana’, which means small water calabash with bubbling water.

Visitors beware - as legend has it that all who drink water from this crystal clear spring may not wish to leave Kuruman!
